A Texas native, Jessica Bresler was born and raised in Houston. In 2008 she graduated with honors from the University of Texas and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish. She is currently pursuing a career in law, with the intention of specializing in children’s rights.

Since graduating, Jessica has worked as a Public Policy Intern at Texas CASA, an organization dedicated to serving the best interest of abused and neglected children, where she studied the impact that legislation has had on children in the foster care system and focused on implementing ways to improve the current laws that affect these children. She currently works as a litigation assistant at The Milner Law Firm, getting hands-on experience working with the other members of the firm to understand the complex issues that are involved in a family law practice.

A firm believer in community service, she has actively participated in many service organizations, including mentoring Spanish speaking students at St. John’s middle school through Austin Stone Community Church, as well as providing child care and translation services at Family Violence Prevention Services, Inc., for battered women and children. She is also a proud alumnus of the Yoga Yoga teacher training program and of Young Life. When she is out of the office, you can find her with friends, family, and her chocolate lab Oscar.
